Construction Aggregates:
The key components for highway paving have always been clean and durable stone and sand. The specifications for these materials continue to emphasize life-cycle costs and quality. We are a quality-driven production company, and we specialize in meeting demanding specifications.
All of our plants have certified quality control staff on-site, insuring that the last ton is the same as the first ton, regardless of the size of the order.
Core Construction Aggregates Available for:
Landscaping Stone:
Stone is a popular “hardscape” material that is used for such diverse purposes as mulch, ground cover, driveways, and filler around pools and patios. Used as mulch, stone helps retain soil moisture, blocks weed growth, and enhances drainage. Because it provides excellent erosion control, stone can also be used in gardens to create walkways or as driveway material.
L. G. Everist, Inc. can meet all of your decorative stone needs. Visually attractive and functional, from general landscaping to pool decks, we’ve got you covered.
A consistent high quality appearance is achieved from superior resources quarried to exacting specification.
Asphalt:
Asphalt offers distinct advantages - cost savings, speed of construction, smooth surface, and long lasting durability. Asphalt combines stone or gravel and sand bonded by asphalt cement, a crude oil product. The mixture is applied hot and then compacted. Of the more than two million miles of paved road in the U.S., 94% is surfaced with asphalt. Asphalt has the versatility to suit every surfacing project. From tennis courts, bike trails, parking lots and subdivisions, to highways, interstates and airport runways, asphalt fits any application. It's also the only paving material that is 100% recyclable.
