Landscaping Stone
Stone is a popular “hardscape” material that is used for such diverse purposes as mulch, ground cover, driveways, and filler around pools and patios. The stone helps retain soil moisture, blocks weed growth, and enhances drainage. Asphalt
Asphalt offers distinct advantages – cost savings, speed of construction, smooth surface, and long-lasting durability. Asphalt combines stone, gravel and sand bonded by asphalt cement, a crude oil product. The mixture is applied hot and then compacted. Asphalt has the versatility to suit every surfacing project. From tennis courts, bike trails, parking lots and subdivisions, to highways, interstates and airport runways, asphalt fits any application. It’s also 100% recyclable.
Myrl & Roy’s is a commercial supplier with two stationary asphalt production plants. Each plant with multiple heated silos for storage and efficient loadout. Along with laydown services, Myrl & Roy’s is available to serve the needs of Sioux Falls and the surrounding areas.

Jasper Stone
Jasper Stone is an incredibly durable and versatile natural stone, ideal for a wide range of applications. With its 98% silcon oxide content, this quartzite is one of the hardest stones in the world, making it perfect for industrial uses such as grinding mills, wear plates, and impact testing.

Railroad Service
D & I Railroad is a wholly-owned subsidiary of L. G. Everist, Inc. The D & I operates between Dell Rapids, SD and Sioux City, IA with Class I interchange options to BNSF, Canadian National, and Union Pacific at Sioux City. Transload / Bulk Services
Since 1876, L. G. Everist, Inc. has specialized in a wide range of rail transloading services, focused on the safe and efficient transfer and handling of bulk products. Throughout the Front Range corridor of Colorado and along the I-29 corridor in the Upper Midwest, our yards offer well-equipped facilities with room for growth.
Our transload locations can handle a wide variety of products. As an experienced and independent transload service provider, L. G. Everist, Inc. offers customized service contracts designed to meet the specific needs of our customers.
Water Storage
L. G. Everist, Inc. has specific expertise in the reclamation and development of water storage reservoirs on mined lands in our Mountain Division. We have successfully built and managed 17 water storage cells totaling in excess of 20,500 acre-feet of water storage on site in Fort Lupton, Greeley, Longmont, and Firestone, Colorado.
Currently, we are developing two facilities near Firestone that will total in excess of 8,300 acre-feet of water storage. We also own 14,500 acre-feet of potential water storage property.
